X4CF 2023 LODGING & DOCKAGE INFO

Please read below for important information on current

lodging updates and instructions on how to book reservations...

All townhome and hotel room assignments will be assigned based on team configurations and boat slip needs to best accommodate all event attendees. This ensures that all teams are able to be housed together with their captains and boats.  It takes a monumental effort to configure all the necessary arrangements with people and boats, so please be patient and trust everyone will have a place to stay!  

IMPORTANT UPDATES:

  • Venue lodging assignments will be issued end-of-May after we receive a complete inventory list from the venues.

  • Bimini Cove is fully closed for renovations until May 1st, 2023.  

Important Updates

The Crossing EVENT takes place at two venues.... 

Bimini Cove Resort (south island)  and  Bimini Big Game Club (north island). 

*Headquarters is located at Bimini Big Game.

~ LODGING OPTIONS ~

We have procured discounted room blocks at these three resorts...

General Info....

  • For budgeting purposes:

    • Townhome (Bimini Cove) rates average $300-$500 per night based on size/occupancy

    • Hotel (Bimini Big Game & Hilton) room rates average $300-$350 per night including taxes & resorts fees (prices based on event discounted rate)

  • Lodging is limited in Bimini so we ask that people be prepared to share rooms and beds.

  • BOAT SLIPS  - Reservations need to be made by the captain of the support boat at the same venue the team is staying at.  Booking links are below.

 

'Bimini Cove Resort' and 'Bimini Big Game Club' specific info.....

  • These two resorts are fully reserved for Crossing participants ONLY. 

 

  • Townhomes and hotel rooms can only be booked by submitting a Lodging Request form using the booking links on this page.

  • WHO CAN REQUEST LODGING?

    • Only ONE 'team representative' should submit a lodging request on behalf of the entire team. Based on your team size the number of units with available configurations will be assigned. 

    • Your 'team representative' MUST be a REGISTERED participant with proof of their Classy.org registration 'order number'.

  • RECREATIONAL SOLO PADDLERS (that requested boat support)

    • You will be roomed with other Recreational Solo paddlers. 

    • If you want to be roomed with other specific attendees then make sure to add this special request in the 'Comments' section of the Lodging Request form.

 

  • Paddlers need to lodge at the same location as their captain and boat.

 

  • If your boat is over 55', or needs water and power, please select Bimini Big Game or Hilton.

Resorts World Hilton specific Info....

  • Due to the large number of attendees for this year we have procured an additional room block at Resorts World Hilton, located at the north side of north island Bimini.  This is a short 9 minute taxi or golf cart ride to the Crossing Headquarters at Bimini Big Game Club.

  • Use booking links below to reserve the Crossing discounted rates for both lodging and boat slips.

  • Boat slips for this location are located the Fisherman's Village at Bimini Bay Marina

 

Other Lodging Options...

LODGING REQUEST INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Designate ONE person on your team ("team representative") to book lodging for all attendees on your team (Paddlers, Captain, Crew, Family/Friend). This will mitigate duplicated bookings and delays in assignments.

  2. Select which venue you prefer to stay at.

  3. Click respective booking button on this page. 

  4. Fill out the form completely.  Make sure to include all team members names that you will be lodging with and who can share a bed with who (sharing beds is almost guaranteed if staying at one of the official venues).

  5. Relax and wait until end of May for your room assignment.

  6. No lodging units will be allocated and assigned until registration is fully closed and has been reconciled.

BOAT SLIP REQUEST INSTRUCTIONS:

  1.  The captain of the boat must be the one to submit their boat slip request and answer all questions about the boat.

  2.  Select which lodging venue you and your team will be staying at.

  3.  Use the provided link to get the discounted rate.

BIMINI COVE RESORT & MARINA (South Island):   

     Lodging.... 

  • Townhomes with full kitchens

  • Shared rooms with beds and pullout couches. You can bring your own blow up mattresses

  • Food establishments are limited on the south island to only one on premise small cafe and one off premise bar & grill called Thirsty Turtle

  • It’s best to bring all your own food and cook family style in your condo

     Boat Slips....

  • All slips are 40' fingers with exception of two 60

  • Boat slip discounted rates TBD (*Prices may change week of event. Contact the marina for confirmation)

  • It’s a 30’ min for cost.

  • If boat is less than 30', it will be calculated as a 30 footer

  • Fuel available onsite

BIMINI BIG GAME RESORT & MARINA (North Island):

     Lodging....

  • Room with 1 King or 2 Queens

  • Restaurant on site, as well as other establishments on the island within walking distance

     Boat Slips....

  • Boat slip discounted rates are $2.60 per linear foot per night (*Prices may change week of event. Contact the marina for confirmation)

  • Slips can house boats up to 130'

  • Water & Electric rates available by contacting Big Game directly

  • Fuel located close by at Bimini Blue Water Marina

  • It’s a 30’ min for cost.

  • If boat is less than 30', it will be calculated as a 30 footer

RESORTS WORLD HILTON (North Island):

     Lodging....

  • Room with 1 King or 2 Queens

  • Multiple restaurants on site, as well as other establishments on the island within walking distance

     Boat Slips....

  • Slips located at Bimini Bay Fisherman's Village

  • Slips can house boats up to 130'

  • The linear per foot rate varies per size boat from $3.36 to $3.80 per foot (*Prices may change week of event. Contact the marina for confirmation)

  • Water & Electric rates available by contacting Bimini Bay Marina directly

  • Fuel located close by at Bimini Blue Water Marina
